Job Description
Process a variety of CD related tasks, which include but are not limited to:
Close Outs
Renewals
Interest Adjustments
Inquiries from Customers and other departments
Quality Review
Research
Process a variety of Retirement Account tasks, which include but are not limited to:
New account set ups
Contributions, distributions, and rollovers
Inquiries from Customers and other departments
Quality Review (transactions and documentation)
Research
Address inquiries regarding:
IRS TIN Compliance (W8 s, W9 s, B and C Notices)
BackUp Withholding submission and reconciliation
Tax Reporting (1099 INT, 1099 R and 5498 s)
Applicable policies and procedures.
Maintain a working knowledge on the products, services and regulations governing:
Certificates of Deposits
Retirement Accounts
IRS TIN Compliance
Provide support to other areas of the department as required; such as but not limited to:
Teller functions
Statement rendering
Check review
Opening interoffice mail
Required Skills
Strong PC skills, interpersonal / communication skills, analytical skills, well organized, detailed oriented
Financial Banking and/or Retirement Account experience is preferred
